CHÂTEAU DE VIAUD LALANDE DE POMEROL

The Château de Viaud Lalande is situated in the village Lalande de Pomerol. The origin of the estate goes back to the 17th century. The present Château was built at the end of the 18th century.

This micro estate (1,8 hectares) owned by the Durand Teyssier family. Philippe, and his son Thomas are now leading the property. The expertise of Thomas in New Zealand, California, or in Château Bélair in Saint Emilion, contributes to the elaboration of the nectar Château Viaud Lalande.

This wine is concentrated and sappy in the mouth. It is distinguished by its delicate tannins thanks to the ageing in oak barrels. Pure, dense fruit with a long finish.

CHÂTEAU BRANDE BERGERE Cuvée O'Byrne

Chateau Brande Bergère is a small family-owned estate of 20 acres located just north of Saint Emilion on a hillside overlooking the Dronne River valley. Wines from Brande Bergère were well-known across France, Germany, England, and Ireland in the 19th century for their elegance and finesse. The estate was acquired in 1997 by Edith & Denis Dalibot who carried out a complete renovation of the vineyard and the winery. They have worked passionately to improve the quality of the wine produced on this exceptional terroir, ever respectful of the old Bordeaux traditions. Medium-deep red in color. Pepper, raspberry and hints of strawberry on the nose. The palate gives way to balanced tannin and ripe red fruit with subtle hints of leather character. Lingering finish.
